VIP is very fortunate to offer premier digital radiology services supported with Idexx's powerful imaging software and AI assisted interpretation.   We use ultra-high definition monitors with high aspect ratios that display all the excellent quality images obtained for reviewing.

While technically oral radiography is a subset of radiology, it is so important in your pet's overall, long-term health, that it deserves its own section. 

 

VIP offers state-of-the-art, intra-oral radiographs (x-rays) to help monitor and diagnose periodontal disease in your pet to reduce the risk of developing serious and significant disease.  The vast majority of dental disease in our pets is under the gum line which is why x-rays of your pet's teeth is a vital aspect of their overall healthcare.   With intra-oral radiography we can diagnose and treat:

• Tooth root abscesses

• Retained deciduous teeth and/or roots also known as "baby teeth"

• Feline oral resorptive lesions AKA feline "cavities"

• Fractured teeth and roots

• Discolored teeth

• Mal-occlusion disorders when the lower teeth do not meet the upper teeth appropriately

• Missing teeth

• Oro-facial swellings; draining tract

• Salivary gland disorders

VIP offers full ultrasonography services for evaluation of abdominal organs, pregnancy evaluations, pregnancy monitoring, as well as performing cardiac studies that can be sent for a detailed analysis by a board-certified cardiologist. 

 

VIP uses the extremely efficient Butterfly brand ultrasound system that provides great detail with excellent portability.  This system allows us to use our large screen diagnostic monitors to perform the study with you, in real time.
